How to enable the Classic Editor of your WordPress?
Some time ago, WordPress released Gutenberg, being the new WordPress editor, available for websites that updated the platform to version 5 in late 2019.
Technically, it was a strategy to bring a more modern and attractive design to the WordPress edition, similar to Medium and the Twitter site.
The new feature is block editing, with a specific focus on each part at a time, which helps to avoid distractions in setting up posts.
In addition, the editor allows you to directly view the changes on the site as if they were already being published at the time of writing. With this, Gutenberg aims to make text development easier and more straightforward.
However, the new feature caused some resistance from some users, precisely because of problems associated with it. One of them is the fact that it is a very new version, just released, which has several inconsistencies and bugs.
In other words, because it is new, it is a version that lacks some stability and may present difficulties in everyday writing.
As shown in the video above, just go to the Plugins section and click on “Add New”. Look for “Classic Editor”, then click “Install Now”. Then activate the plugin and voila! The magic will happen!
